RAW loose-lay Asanawa jute rope especially developed for bondage applications on a midi spool. It's untreated raw rope from Japanese production, skin-friendly and JBO-free.

Depending on rope diameter a spool contains the following meters of rope:
ø6mm: ~150m, ~3kg
ø5.5mm: ~165m, ~3kg
ø5mm: ~180m, ~3kg
ø4.5mm: ~200m, ~3kg

This is rope from the 2021 batch from AMATSUNAWA. It was made from fiber-reduced yarn and has very little wear abrasion. It is ideal for large art structures and practice.

Please note that the rope may contain minor production defects such as imbalances and sections with incorrect yarn tension. A spool can consist of a maximum of 2 lengths.

This rope is NOT suitable for suspension work/uplines. Small loops can form on the rope under load. These are hereby expressly pointed out!

Important information about the product:
Yarn spools are not infinitely long. Each spool of yarn has a beginning and an end, representing joins in the rope made with a reef knot. We recommend our customers to remove these knots if possible.

We are proud to offer to you our vegan rope butter for the ongoing care and conditioning of jute ropes for bondage, Shibari and Kinbaku. This rope butter is handmade by us following a self-developed and widely tested recipe and is a balanced mixture of jojoba oil and mokurō wax. Compared to the traditional rope butter with beeswax, the vegan rope butter gives your rope significantly more shine than the rope butter with beeswax, whose finish is fairly matte. It comes in a solid aluminum tin that contains a generous 100g / 3.5 oz of rope butter. You will also receive a booklet with tested instructions on how to apply this butter during the conditioning process to your ropes.
